all year round is from Ardrossan in Ayrshire to

LOCHRANZA The hills and shoreline which cradle Lochranza, abound with wildlife. Large herds of red deer can be seen all year round; birds of prey, including golden eagles, can be seen soaring above the hills; red squirrels, seals, oyster catchers,otters, basking sharks, swans, cormorants and numerous varieties of duck, are just a few of the wonders that you can see every day in Lochranza. Within the village there is an 18 hole golf course (9 greens), a putting green and distillery. The village hall has ceilidhs, concerts and other events throughout the summer months. |
